Greetings Party People,

Checking in to let y’all know how exited I am about rockin’ this weekend a The East Atlanta Icehouse (543 Flat Shoals Ave ATL, GA 30316) we hope to see a lot of familiar faces and a lot of not-so-familiar faces.  On a personal note, I am looking forward to enjoying an evening of top notch Hiphop.  really made an effort to reach out to some very talented groups and I am honestly just glad they accepted our invitation.  As I gear up to take this dog and pony show on the road, I must take a moment to reflect on the journey so far…See The East Atlanta Icehouse used to be the Echo Lounge and there are so many shows that happened at that place that I would have given any part of my anatomy up to have been involved with.  Back then I probably wouldn’t get a call back from that place if I offered them money.  But what a difference a few years of paying dues can make, not only does this place get back in touch with me, they invite me back and ask me my opinion about things.  What I’m getting at with all of this is that sometimes you have to crawl before you walk but know that that time you spend crawling can pay dividends later if you make sure you crawl as best as you can…

Metrognome-”I really question your taste, you’ve held me down since before I even knew how to rap and before you even knew how to scratch but somewhere down the line we figured out a recipe for greatness so I guess I’ll ride the wave”

Tommy Lee Soul-”I got a soft spot for Midwesterners so do your thing, I’m glad we get to rock together hope it’s a sign of what’s to come”

The Fresh-”I’ve only seen you once but your song about sneakers touched me right in the heart so you are good in my book”

Homebodies-”I haven’t seen y’all as much as I should have but what I have seen is enough, glad to share the stage with you”

Alpha Noise-”KEL was one of the first people in Atlanta to ever give me a shot at shining, for that I am forever grateful, it may look like silly nonsense now but it was a step ahead for me so thanks for the shot glad that years later I can return the favor.
